Yoga, an elixir that works on almost every new age predicament. Unfortunately today the youth are also victims of stress, anxiety, insomnia, etc., due to a highly competitive environment and work culture. Peer-pressure, examination pressure, long working hours, irregular eating habits are a few other causes of a stressful lifestyle.

BVRIT HYDERABAD with student health, fitness and Cognitive behavior concern started Student Yoga Program in the year 2015 under the guidance of the yoga trainer Mr . P. Nagaraju & Faculty coordinators Ms. B. Rajitha, Ms. B.Sreekala. Students are using this platform to relief from regular academic schedule and taking benefit from the program.

YOGA ACTIVITIES

  • Workshop on Wellness of Women (WOW) by Ms. Purinma mandowa on 27th August 2016.
  • Online Meditation Master Classes were conducted by Kamalesh D. Patel called as Daaji the world teacher of Heartfullness on 1st, 2ndand 3rd  February 2017.
  • Padma Sri Ms.V.Nanammal 98 year old Ozone yoga instructor invited and felicitated on 13th September 2017.
  • Every year enrolled yoga students attempt to Yoga exam and are certified.

To integrate body, mind and soul, regular Yoga classes are being conducted at BVRITH twice in a week for students as well as for faculty members by a Yoga trainer. As a result, positive mental attitude and capacity to cope up stress in professional and family life is developed.
