Code and Wire: Arduino
About
This competition is designed to test participants' Arduino programming skills, sensor integration knowledge, and problem-solving abilities through simulation and hardware-based challenges. The event consists of three rounds, each increasing in complexity. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their technical creativity while working with real-world embedded systems. The challenge encourages innovation, teamwork, and hands-on implementation to solve practical problems.
Team Size
Each team must have 2-3 members.
Guidelines
Simulation Tools:
- Participants will use TinkerCad for the simulation rounds.
Rounds & Evaluation Criteria:
Round 1: Simulation Round
- Teams will be given a basic problem statement requiring them to implement Arduino-based simulations.
- Participants must demonstrate correct circuit design and code functionality.
Round 2: Advanced Simulation Round
- Shortlisted teams will face a more complex problem requiring the integration of multiple sensors and modules.
- Emphasis will be on efficiency, accuracy, and innovative solutions.
Round 3: Hardware Challenge (Final Round)
- Teams qualifying from Round 2 will receive hardware kits to implement their solutions in real-time.
- Hands-on debugging and implementation skills will be tested.
Facilities & Requirements
- Computers will be provided for all rounds.
- Hardware kits will be provided only for teams that qualify for the third round.
- Tasks will be disclosed on the event day.
