About

The treasure, stolen by the mysterious being Deadbug, will only be revealed through a team contest called CodeHunt, where teams must solve problems to receive hints about locations. At each site, team members need to solve puzzles to obtain the next question. The winning team, with the maximum points and the least time, will be rewarded with the stolen treasure.

Guidelines


  • It is an offline team-based event. The team will be divided into 2 halves, one will be the coding half and other will be the hunters (physical team who will solve the aptitude problems).

  • There will be a team of 2 members and at least one of them should be a coder. Each team have to bring their own laptop.

  • Each team will be given a problem and their task is to write a program that solves each problem AS A CODING PART and then the hunters will solve the aptitude questions. and the cycle will continue.

  • JUDGING CRITERIA will be as per ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) style where time penalty includes both times taken to solve coding question as well as aptitude question.

  • THERE WILL BE 10 minutes PENALTY for each incorrect answer (Coding or aptitude).

  • If any team member is found committing any malpractice, the whole team will be disqualified from all the upcoming coding events.

  • The decision of the organisers shall be treated as final and binding.

  • More information will be provided at the time of contest itself.
