Seed Funding

Seed fund is an in-house financial support, available for consumables, mini equipment, fees for characterisation, software purchase and other operational expenses. This initiative aims to foster researcher development by offering flexible funding, enabling them to secure further external grants, industry partnerships, or innovative scholarly projects.

Objectives To provide faculty members with support for pilot research projects, enabling them to develop stronger proposals for securing external funding.

  • To explore novel research ideas and generate preliminary data to strengthen proposals for external funding.
  • To foster collaboration among faculty from different departments in emerging research fields.
