Diagnostic Testis conducted to assess the foundational skills of incoming first-year B.Tech students, and identify areas where improvement is needed. The test evaluates students’ strengths and weaknesses in key parameters, including Mathematics, English, Psychometric testing, Quantitative Aptitude, and Mental Ability. By administering these assessments, we gain valuable insights that enable our faculty to tailor their teaching approaches and provide targeted support, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for our students.

Basic Programming Skills equip students to harness the power of computers, enabling them to create innovative solutions, automate tasks, and tackle complex problems. By acquiring these skills, students can unlock a wide range of career opportunities in technology and beyond, while also developing essential critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.

The Vishnu Student Success Centre (VSSC) provides a holistic support system, offering a broad spectrum of resources to foster student growth and development. Our services encompass personalized tutoring, academic guidance, and career mentorship, all customized to meet individual needs. We also organize workshops focused on wellness, personal growth, and confidence-building, ensuring students receive comprehensive support for success.

Women in Software Engineering (WISE) is a unique initiative which runs in parallel with the regular academic programme. The primary aim of WISE is to prepare women engineering students to get industry ready by developing them into highly competitive professionals for the Global Tech Industry by making them proficient in latest technologies through the implementation of parallel curriculum. Students undergo 2 levels where they were exposed to latest technologies as per the industry demands.

Web Application / Gaming Development Skills (using Python) – Python serves as a powerful and versatile technology for both web application development and gaming. In web development, frameworks like Django and Flask enable the rapid creation of secure, scalable, and feature-rich applications by providing tools for routing, templating, and database management. For gaming, libraries such as Pygame and Panda3D offer developers the ability to build interactive 2D and 3D games with support for graphics rendering, sound, and user input. Python’s simple syntax, extensive libraries, and strong community support make it ideal for developers to efficiently create, test, and deploy both web and gaming projects across various platforms.

Intellectual Learning in Engineering Applications (ILEA) aimed at bringing mindset change and encouraging self-reflection among students. It focused on building their personality and increasing self-awareness on career success. Students were guided to become placement ready by understanding their strengths and areas of improvement. The importance of gratitude was also emphasized. A psychometric assessment was conducted to support these key areas, helping students gain deeper insights into their personal and professional development for a successful future.

Aptitude Training is to enhance a person’s inherent abilities and skills, particularly in areas like logical reasoning, quantitative skills, and problem-solving, to improve performance on aptitude tests and in relevant fields

Entrepreneurship Awareness is a platform to motivate and equip individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to consider self-employment or starting a business as a viable career option. These programs aim to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, introduce participants to the start-up ecosystem, and encourage innovation and self-reliance

Competitive Coding Skills are valuable for enhancing problem-solving, improving coding efficiency, and boosting logical thinking abilities. These skills are honed through consistent practice in solving coding challenges under time constraints, leading to a deeper understanding of data structures and algorithms. This enhanced skill set can be beneficial for both technical interviews and real-world software development. Students will undergo three levels of Competitive Coding.

Industry Programs/ Internships / Mentorships– College has various industrial collaborations where students do Industry Certifications with which they are offered Internships / Mentorships. It serves the primary purpose of bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practices. They aim to enhance students’ practical skills, improve their employability, and provide them with a deeper understanding of industry operations, trends, and challenges
