What is ACM?

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), brings together computing educators, researchers, and professionals to inspire dialogue, share resources, and address the field’s challenges. As the world’s largest computing society, ACM strengthens the profession’s collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of technical excellence.

What are Chapters in ACM?
Chapters are the “local neighborhoods” of ACM. Professional and Student chapters worldwide serve as nodes of activity for ACM members and the computing community at large, offering seminars, lectures, and the opportunity to meet peers and experts in many fields of interest.

What ACM-W Student Chapter?
Student Chapters provide unique opportunities for networking, mentoring and bonding over common interests. They provide support both within the student community and
to local communities outside the institution.
